Carl Sherwood
School of Economics

Carl Sherwood combines 15 years of professional engineering experience with 14 years of teaching at UQ. He creates a stimulating and meaningful learning experience by using a contextualized, interactive storytelling approach to help first-year economics students overcome their fear of learning statistics.

Carl really tries to link what might ordinarily be bland concepts to things that students are doing outside university.
